Right now, I am supporting my friend Jenn in a "30 Day, No Grains, No Sugar" challenge. In fact, there have recently been a ton of 30 day diet challenges posted - on the CrossFit Message Boards, on Facebook, within individual CrossFit affiliates. We all have off days, slow days, even bad days. But I rarely have a Bad Day of Epic Proportion. The BDoEP feels far, far different than just a plain old bad day. It feels like I have one of the Jolie-Pitt kids clinging to a leg (probably Maddox), Andrei Arlovsky trying to pin me in a cross slide and my Dad standing next to me huffing Pall Mall non-filters. I recently had a conversation with someone I truly like and respect, someone with a lot more CrossFit and coaching experience than I have. This person mentioned he had read my blog for the first time… and then referenced that it wasn’t exactly a “family show”.
