In the case of exercise, more is not always better. As outlined in the Whole9 Health Equation, it’s imperative to take care of your health balance and look at the big picture to make sure you have more deposits going into your health bank than withdrawals. In the face of stress, we often see people pulling too many withdrawals from their health account in order to include more exercise or hit that back squat PR.
In this episode of S&STV, we discuss various stressors, the types of exercise that are more stressful on your system and signs that indicate you may need more rest, recovery, or time away from intense exercise.
