Last month, we introduced you to Whole9 South Pacific, our dynamic team of Jamie Scott and Dr. Anastasia Boulais. Jamie and Anastasia will be presenting Whole9 health and nutrition seminars down under, with their first seminar already scheduled, and a Melbourne event almost ready to launch. (For more information about South Pacific Whole9 happenings, visit the new W9SP Facebook page.)
But we’re not stopping there… we’re ready to expand our teams here in the U.S., too. With a current seminar request queue more than 500 deep, and the fact that we’re only two people, we’re leaving a lot of eager hosts and attendees waiting far too long to hear how our program can change their lives. And we realized there were probably dozens of qualified, dynamic, passionate people who could step in and start taking over where our travel schedule leaves off.
With that, we are holding an open call to join the Whole9 seminar team here in the North America. If you are interested in joining our team, please take note of the following:
Job Description
Whole9 is looking to expand our seminar team(s) within the U.S. and Canada. Team members would perform the following general responsibilities:
- Schedule and present Whole9 nutrition seminars
- Work with hosts to promote seminars in their local communities
- Promote Whole9 and the Whole30 program as representatives of our organization
Applicants must be available to travel on weekends to present our full-day seminars.
Prerequisites
All applicants must have expert working knowledge of general Paleo nutrition principles, the Whole30® program, and the concepts outlined in It Starts With Food, as well as familiarity with our Whole9 Health Equation and 9 Factors.
Teams of two presenters (applying together) are preferred, but we will also consider individual presenters.
Relevant degrees or education (functional medicine practitioners, naturopaths, registered dieticians or nutritionists, nurses, physical therapists, etc.) are preferred but not required.
Applicants must reside in the continental United States or Canada.
Instructions for Application
Please email all of the following information to workshops@whole9life.com, with the email subject of “Whole9 seminar team application”:
- Your current resume
- A cover letter
- A 5-8 minute video clip of you presenting nutrition information
The video clip may be submitted via upload to YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, etc, or emailed if the file size is under 25 MB. You may film your video either with or without an audience.
If you are applying with a partner, each of you must submit your own resume, cover letter, and video submission. Please note the name of your desired presentation partner in your cover letter.
Please present original material of your creation, based on any Paleo nutrition principle, the Whole30 program, or any concept from It Starts With Food. Film your presentation as if you were speaking in front of a live audience at a Whole9 nutrition seminar—and make sure we can see and hear you clearly.
The deadline for all applicants is midnight (PST) on January 31, 2013. We’ll be contacting you all personally by February 28, 2013 to let you know if we would like to get to know you better.
Join the Whole9 Team
We are looking forward to “meeting” all of you, and expanding our ability to share our message of health and happiness with everyone who wants to hear it.
