Author’s Note: Today’s post is geared towards gym or health club owners, personal trainers, medical clinics and wellness practitioners. Sorry, readers, but once in a while, we’ve gotta self-promote. We’ve got an awesome original article for you on Monday, promise.
In December 2010, we introduced our Whole9 Nutrition Partner program, and our comprehensive Nutrition Guide for gyms, fitness facilities, and personal trainers. To date we have 61 established Nutrition Partners, with an average of two new facilities coming on board each week.
Nutrition for Fitness Facilities
Feedback from our Nutrition Partners has been tremendous. Since the addition of our nutrition program to their training protocols, clients are achieving faster, more sustainable health and fitness results, gym memberships are growing at a faster pace and gym owners no longer face the burden of trying to create, implement and maintain a comprehensive nutrition program on their own. Chris Roche of PR Fitness in Brownsburg, IN says:
“While I’m accustomed to getting constant positive feedback from our athletes regarding our training program, I’m not accustomed to getting positive feedback about our nutrition recommendations. In fact, I’d been more accustomed to frequent disappointment when I used to ask our athletes about their nutrition. No matter how much we tried to educate and lead our crew, very little of what I threw out was being embraced and put into practice – but the past two months have been a totally different story. Your program, materials, and support have really filled the gap we had in getting our athletes on board the nutrition bandwagon. Every day I’m getting massive amounts of positive feedback about our clients’ nutritional habits. They are feeling better, losing weight, have greater energy levels, and are setting more PR’s in the gym than ever before.”
We are thrilled with the results our Partners are seeing in their clients and members – so much so that today, we are announcing a new category of Whole9 Nutrition Partners.
Nutrition for Medical and Wellness Clinics
About a year ago, we started hearing rumblings of medical doctors and other health care providers using our Whole30 program with their patients, and achieving great success. Since then, we’ve received so many requests from MDs, NDs, acupuncturists, chiropractors and massage therapists that we began revising our Nutrition Guide to better suit a medical and wellness setting. The revised Guide is currently being proofed by three medical professionals (including an MD) to ensure the contents are appropriate for a clinical setting. We expect to release the Guide to health care professionals by the end of the month.
The Guide is just as comprehensive than our Whole30 Success Guide – but as it eases patients and clients into our nutritional recommendations, it’s less intimidating for those new to this way of eating. The Guide also includes a stand-alone packet detailing our full Whole30 program and a reintroduction schedule stating on Day 31, and 42 additional pages of everyday recipes, a meal plan and pantry-stocking tips.
Our Guide is priced at a reasonable, one-time flat fee, which licenses you to give the material to all of your patients, clients, members and staff, present and future. (Please note, however, the price will be increasing when we reach 100 total partners.)
