Since November 2009, we’ve been traveling across the US and Canada, conducting more than 70 workshops centered around our nutritional recommendations. And while each workshop is a little different, and we are constantly expanding and revising our materials, we think it’s about time to develop a new workshop, focusing on the big-picture health and fitness model we’ve been developing for the last six months.
A Special Preview on Sunday, October 9th
On Saturday October 8th, we’ll be conducting our Foundations of Nutrition workshop at CrossFit Oregon City (in the Portland, OR area).
And on Sunday, October 9th, we’ll be holding a special preview of the new Whole9 (yet to be formally named) “Big Picture Health Seminar” from 9 AM – 11 AM, at CrossFit Oregon City.
This seminar is free to all who attend Saturday’s Foundations event – but is closed to the general public. (Attendance Saturday is a mandatory pre-requisite.) We won’t have formal handouts prepared – we want this special preview to be more of an interactive event, allowing us to test-run some of our new, big-picture health and fitness recommendations and templates while allowing plenty of time for individual Q&A.
There is no formal sign-up sheet for Sunday’s new workshop preview – we’ll simply be using Saturday’s check-in list to verify attendance. We look forward to sharing some of our new material with this group, and hope to hear some constructive and honest feedback from our pilot group.
It’s not too late to register for Saturday’s Foundations event, and guarantee a space in Sunday’s workshop sneak-preview. Visit www.oregonfoundations.eventbrite.com for details.

Come to Australia! :(
Are you guys still doing the trainer workshop in Bowie MD? I think it was cancelled b/c of the hurricane. i didn’t see it re-scheduled on the right side of the page.
Dani – We’d LOVE to come to Australia! We’ve got two nutrition partners in QLD so far, so maybe we can make a trip sometime next year. We’d have to get a lot of folks interested, though… maybe as part of our book tour!
Elizabeth – we had to cancel the trainer’s portion of the event, because Dutch could not make our reschedule date, and we didn’t have any other dates open in 2011. Sorry about that.
Melissa
Any plans to visit the NW soon? I live in Portland and there are many who are interested in fitness and clean eating. Let me know!
