For the remainder of the week, we’ll be re-posting some “best of” Whole9 articles, and putting away our computers to spend time with family and friends. Today, we’d like to reflect on the past year, and express some gratitude.
We are thankful for our workshop hosts. Thank you for having us in your gym, speaking to your members, helping people get healthier, fitter and, hopefully, happier. Thank you for taking such good care of us during our travels, and for staying in touch. Thank you to those of you who took a chance on us early – Kristie and Andy of CrossFit Stamford, Becky Strahan of The Mat yoga studio, and John Marshall of CrossFit Richardson, in particular. We love our workshops, and can’t wait to kick off a new year of Foundations and Trainer’s events.
We are thankful for our nutritional mentors and friends. Thank you to Robb Wolf and Nicki Violetti for your support, guidance, direction and teachings. We wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you to Andy Deas, for your time, your friendship and your thorough and thoughtful feedback. You’ve been gorgeous, and your notes will help make all of our events better. Thank you to Dutch Lowy, for the programming help, the tough love and inspiration, the hospitality and, most recently, teaming up with us. Our 2011 Trainer’s events are gonna rock the house, thanks to you. Thank you to Scott Hagnas, for the amazing recipes, inspiration and kindness. Thank you to Kurt Harris, Stephen Guyenet, Petro Dobromylskyj and others who give so much away for free. We will always be grateful for the things you have taught us, and will continue to pimp your stuff out like it’s our full-time jobs.
We are thankful for all of our workshop attendees. Thank you to those of you who came out to hear what we have to say, taking time from your busy week to sit on cold metal folding chairs in un-heated (or un-air conditioned) gyms. Thank you for the emails, the comments, the Facebook posts letting us know how our workshops changed your life. Thank you for the good questions, the healthy skepticism, and the helpful feedback. We love meeting you, talking with you, hearing your stories. You make our travel schedule one thousand percent worth it.
We are thankful for our Whole30 participants. Thank you for leaving over 3,000 comments on our site, all devoted to your Whole30 experience. Thank you to the gyms who have taken on the program, reporting back amazing results and happier, healthier clients. Thank you for your testimonials, your emails, your before and after photos and your extraordinary stories. Thank you to those who have supported us, spread the Good Food Word and continue to share your Whole30 success with friends, family and co-workers. We will continue to run this program, for free, on our site for as long as we are in business, because of you.
We are thankful for the Whole9 community. Thank you to those who link to our articles, re-publish our words, reference our quotes. Thank you to those who visit the site, silently stalking. A huge thank you to those who take the time to drop a comment, share your story, contribute a bit of yourself. Your comments, emails and testimonials keep our community alive, and your motivation, inspiration and support helps more people than you could possibly know. A very special thank you to Adam Kayce of Bright Coconut – you keep our site running smooth and looking good. And to Melissa Joulwan – your friendship, sense of humor, endless support and amazing culinary skills make our lives brighter and happier. We adore you.
We are thankful for our families and friends. Thanks to Mum and Amber, Mom and Doug, Dad and Susan, Kelly and Ryan, Jenn and Sam, Danny Vee, Melissa G., and our new and awesome circle of friends, all across the country. You didn’t blink an eye when we announced we’d be quitting our full-time jobs and moving halfway across the country to strike out on this adventure, and you’ve been behind us every step of the way. Thank you for your support, your advice, and your love.
Happy Thanksgiving to all, and as always, thank you for reading.

I’m sure you’re going to get many of these, so I’ll just say it – you’re welcome, and “Thank You” right back atcha a hundred times over. We love it – “it” being the friendship, the fun, the life-changing information, and the ride that is Whole9.
Happy Holidays!
Thanks is due you as well. Have a great season and enjoy all life has to offer.
The words “thank you” seem too small to encompass my love and gratitude. When I signed on with the Moxy-Boss, I *knew* I would get great advice… what I didn’t expect was to find new members to add to my Family By Choice. Melissa and Dallas, you helped find my way back to HAPPY eating, and I am so grateful. And although we’re miles apart this Thanksgiving, my heart is warmed my thoughts of you two and Captain Tom. (Hi, Captain Tom!) Big love to you and your clan.
Thanks Melissa. We try. I hope you and all of the Whole9 family have a fun holiday. We miss you.
dad
And a special Hi to you Melicious! It’s been a long time.

I’m thankful for your willingness to share your passion and knowledge with all of us, and I’m thankful that I am a more proficient kettlebell swinger because of you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Melissa & Dallas, I can’t thank the two of you enough. Clean eating, picking up heavy stuff and everything else. You guys flipped my world and I am loving it. Hugs to both of you!
Dallas & Melissa,
Thank YOU for all the time and effort you put into what you do for all of us. I am a happier, healthier, and stronger person because of you and your stories and guidance.
Happy Thanksgiving & God Bless
Thanks for everything Whole 9!!!!!! We continue to preach your wonderful healthy gospel to our masses and have had great success! take a break u deserve one!
Despite the fact that you have stripped me of nearly all my favorite vices (Splenda, soy milk and greek yogurt to name just a few) I will still say thank you for what you do, how you do it and how you share your knowledge. It doesn’t hurt that you’re both kind of ridiculously good looking. Hard news (like “stop putting peanut butter in your mouth” or ” stop doing squats 3 day in a row”) is a little bit easier to take when delivered by people who look better on a bad day than I do on my best. ;)
We love you and look forward to more tough Whole30 love to come… Xox
Not to be creepy, but I totally had a star-sighting of you both at Target today. Love the blog and relish the advice given here. Planning any workshops around these parts?
Erin – you should have just come up and said hello! We would like to have met you. We’ve been talking to a few gym owners about doing another event in SLC, it probably won’t happen until Spring with our travel schedule. Keep you posted!
