Thanks for your patience – we realize posts have been strung out a bit over the last few weeks. Here’s a quick update on where we are and what we’re doing.
First, and most importantly, Dallas and I are both full-time Whole9 as of this week. Wrapping up our former nine-to-five gigs took up most of our time and energy last week, but we’re now free and clear and focused on Whole9 business… as soon as we get back from vacation, that is.
- We’ll be in San Diego this week and next, for both business and fun. We’ll be meeting and greeting at San Diego CrossFit boxes, conducting a nutrition workshop in Chula Vista (spots are still available!) and doing a little bit of Olympic Lifting training with the one and only Mike Burgener. (We’ll be raving about that experience for about seven weeks straight, including no fewer than 402,000 photos documenting our session with the famous Coach B.)
- While we’re away, we’ll be re-posting some old Urban Gets Diesel/CrossFit 603 articles that deserve another read. And we’ll be keeping tabs on the site, so drop your comments and questions and we’ll make some time to hit you back.
- Be sure to check out our updated workshop schedule (on the sidebar, and via our updated Road Trip Map below). We’ve added two new events to our Spring/Summer tour, including a mid-week workshop at CrossFit Affliction in Fort Lauderdale, FL and a Tuesday morning offering for the members of Lightning CrossFit on Eglin AFB in Niceville, FL. The Fort Lauderdale workshop is open to the general public, so if you’re in the area, call Steven Bowser at CF Affliction (954.846.8666) or email info@CrossFitAffliction.com.
- Finally, we’ve worked out a plan to continue taking on new consulting clients while on the road. For those of you who we’ve put “on hold”, we’ll be getting back to you as soon as we return from San Diego to discuss how we can tweak the four week program such that we can keep up while traveling.
Thanks for your patience as we work through this transition. We’ve got a TON of ideas for the site, our clients and our workshops, but it’s going to take a few weeks to get those plans up and running. Keep sending us your requests, feedback and ideas, and we’ll keep you up to speed with how things are going on our end.

No stops in Portland or Seattle??? Sad… :(
@MattF: We’re working on Portland, OR now… stay tuned!
Sweet!!! I actually live in Seattle but was born and raised in Portland so I go down there a lot. Hope to see you there.
How about a stop in Winnipeg in between Kelowna and TO?
Damn it, I wished I lived in the US.
Or even ‘wish’.
I wish for correct grammar.
SEE YOU IN HELL!
or NC.
Whole 9 planning on stopping off in Portland? :)
@Suzanne: We’re not actually DRIVING between Kelowna and Toronto… but if we make it through the middle of Canada, we’ll definitely let you know.
@Oregon Folks: We just scheduled a Tuesday night workshop at a new affiliate in Beaverton, OR… it’s CrossFit Body & Fuel, the workshop is Tuesday, June 15th and it runs from 6 PM – 9:30 PM. Ditch work early, grab a quick dinner and come meet us in Beaverton! (Registration info will be up on our sidebar soon – we JUST finalized details.)
While a program may have been accredited by an institution, the learning experience can vary depending on the ability of the
trainer to teach and guide the student. When choosing
a workshop, it is important to follow the same criteria in choosing a
customized program (listed above). Success as a life coach is so much more than just setting goals or learning how
to attract clients.
