Fascinated by whiteboard diagrams of your small intestine? Find yourself drawn to the sexy world of prostaglandins and transglutaminase? Hoping to pick up more creative alternatives to curse words? (Fracken, smuck!) Today, the 9 Blog and RobbWolf.com are teaming up in a shameless love triangle of self-promotion, as the Paleolithic Solutions Seminar and Whole9 Nutrition Workshops hit the road this spring and summer. Fitness-minded folks may wonder if the Whole9 is trying to compete with the PSS, or if our events are a “one or the other” decision. No on both counts! Turns out you can achieve serious nutritional synergy by attending BOTH events, if you’re able.
As described in our recent review of the first PSS, Robb Wolf packs a metric fudge-ton of science-y nutritional goodness into his eight hour seminar. He gives a broad yet detailed overview of big picture nutritional concepts, methodically supporting his material with scientific evidence and years of real world experience. You’ll learn the fundamental principles behind everything from hormones to the immune system to basic tenets of health, wellness and disease. He’ll explain how to translate those big picture concepts to a variety of dietary practices, and he’ll leave you with enough know-how, resources and recommendations to keep you looking, feeling and performing better for a very long time.
After Robb’s PSS, you’ll be armed with enough information to implement good nutritional plans for you and your clients. But what do you do when more specific, personal questions come up? (Things like, how do I manage a nutritional challenge in my gym? What can I do to improve my shoulder tendonitis? How do you eat good food when traveling for business?) Well, that’s where Whole9 comes in.
Our Whole9 Nutrition Workshops show you more specifically how to apply your nutritional know-how for YOUR goals and YOUR lifestyle. We keep our workshops small on purpose, so we have plenty of time for individual Q&A and offer lots of individual attention. And we tailor our material to the crowd – so we’ll talk vegetarianism with a group of yogis, endurance nutrition with triathaletes and maintaining muscle mass and bone density with a group of CrossFit Seniors. We’ll show you how to apply all of the nutritional concepts you’ve learned to the real world – YOUR world – in a way that is effective, sustainable and balanced.
Your first opportunity for nutritional synergy is in April, when Robb pulls up on CrossFit Hoboken (April 10th, Hoboken, NJ), and the Whole9 hits both Albany CrossFit (April 24th, Albany, NY) and NYC Endurance (April 25th, New York, NY).
Looking forward to seeing you on the road later this year!

I see Robb is really helping you guys, so he must really believe in your work. You know Mellisa your 30 Day Challenge saved my life, so I hope to get to attend one of your seminars.
Just one question do you give discounts for couples? Not a big deal, if you don’t, but I thought I should ask.
However, if you do, I may be able to get my wife to attend with me.
Thanks
I believe you meant tenets of health, wellness, and disease, not tenants.
I would like to meet those tenants though…
Ha.
We at Whole9 are generally quite attentive to proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. I can’t believe that one made it past BOTH of us during proofreading.
Once, I typed “pubic display of affection” instead of “public display of affection” in an UGD blog post. That one got a lot of attention.
Thanks for the heads-up, we’ll correct.
Melissa
Melissa,
Great last few posts regarding Robb Wolf and his liberated and expanded work. I really liked the post where you had some of his key quotes taken out and analyzed a bit. You and your team at Whole9 have a great blog, and are offering some of the best services to your clients. A pity there aint that many pros out there that understand the big picture and how to work with their clients so that they see it. Insulin/inflammation mentioned at a chain gym? No way! I wish I lived in your area! Wish you and team continued success. Cheers.
Ha, ha, you said sh*t-ton, I mean sh*t-load, I mean fudge-ton. :) Just teasing you. Both Robb’s PSS and the Whole 9 Nutrition seminars are amazing, and very complementary. sh*t-ton or not. :)
Wow! Hope one of these dual seminars is scheduled for the Midwest sometime this year. They seem very complimentary and well worth it. I’ll definitely be there!
Again, hope to the Love Triangle makes it to the Pacific Northwest!
@Steve: Great idea! We’re going to talk about a spousal discount, because getting your “other half” on board would make it much easier for YOU to complete your 30 day program! (And things are always easier when you do them with some support.)
@Zach: Thanks so much for the support. Hope we make it to your area soon.
@Becky: Gah! I can’t believe I dropped a swear word in front of John Marshall’s MOM! Thanks for rubbing it in. :)
@KTF: Working on our schedule now, keep an eye on the site and our Facebook page for details!
@Julie: We’re headed that way, details to follow soon.
Been a big fan of Robb’s site as well as UGD and more recently the 9 blog for a while now. I’ve learned a lot from you both and am looking forward to the PSS and your Nutrition Workshop in April. Signed up for both as soon as I saw them.
Keep up the great work!
